Belotero®

About Belotero in New York City

Designed to add subtle, natural volume and plumpness to facial tissue, Belotero is a newer and finer hyaluronic acid-based gel. Belotero corrects moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines. Its smoothness also allows it to be a very proficient option for filling in more delicate areas like lip lines, tear troughs, and necks.

What to Expect

There is little recovery time with Belotero. Patients treated have said that they see immediate results in the reduction of wrinkles. What’s more, the results are more subtle and natural when compared with many other fillers. Belotero lasts between six and twelve months, and you can also schedule touch-up appointments at any time to maintain your results.

Juvederm®

Juvederm works to correct skin laxity, wrinkles, and folds by restoring hyaluronic acid in the skin. It’s primarily used for those wrinkles and folds in the lower third of your face, including “laugh lines,” “smile lines,” and “marionette lines.” Marmur Medical offers patients the entire spectrum of Juvederm products. Each product is effective in different ways: Juvederm Ultra is a favorite for lips (lip enhancement); Juvederm Ultra Plus and Juvederm Voluma are fantastic for the cheeks; and Juvederm Volbella is lovely for lips and fine lines. Dr. Marmur was also one of the very first to inject Juvederm Vollure for facial folds, as well as serving as the Key Opinion Leader on an FDA study regarding Juvederm fillers, so she and her team know this family of fillers’ and their incredible capabilities inside and out. Juvederm Volux is designed specifically to add definition to the jawline. Volux enhances the appearance of the jawline to create smooth, natural-looking contours. As an injectable gel formulated for deep injections, Volux provides results that last up to 12 months. As compared to many other HA fillers, Juvéderm Volux is a firm filler that adds definition and structure in the lower face and jawline. With results that can last up to 12 months, Volux can also address jowls to contour the appearance of the jaw and neck for a smoother jawline. With a small amount of lidocaine to reduce discomfort, Volux provides results that are visible immediately after injection. You will see your best Volux results in two to three weeks after your Volux treatment.

What to Expect

When our experts inject this soft gel into your skin, we are looking to fill the soft tissues in the dermis, or the dense inner layer beneath the epidermis, to diminish wrinkles and folds. The procedure requires minimal time, after which you’ll see your results immediately. Juvederm also boasts a short recovery time and usually lasts between six and twelve months.

What to Expect

Depending on the area treated, most folds and wrinkles require one treatment with minimal recovery time. Restylane is our favorite filler for under the eyes. In this spot, it lasts over a year and safely reduces tired-looking dark circles. For most areas of the lips and face, Restylane lasts approximately six months to a year.

Sculptra®

Sculptra®

About Sculptra in New York City

Diluted into a thinner consistency than other fillers, Sculptra adds volume to larger facial areas. Sculptra can produce a more youthful, pleasing facial contour exquisitely, especially for patients with thin faces or those with reduced cheek fat due to extreme fitness, genetics, medications, or other reasons. Dr. Marmur was selected to meet with the FDA about Sculptra, and found that it’s an extremely efficacious treatment for wrinkles, the back of hands, in the upper chest for deep lines, in depressions that may occur after liposuction, and for cosmetic scar correction. We also love Sculptra for athletes, our rapid metabolizers, marathon runners, and thin faces.

What to Expect

When Sculptra is selected for you, we will dilute tiny particles of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) in a suspension of sterile water. We will then carefully inject this into your skin and then mold it to give you the best possible aesthetic results. These injected particles stimulate new collagen formation in the skin, adding volume over time. Sculptra may require a series of three to five treatments every four to six weeks. You will likely see your contours gradually improve over two to six months. For the most enduring results, you should massage all injected areas for five minutes, five times a day, for five days after the procedure. (The magic number is five with Sculptra!) Fret not if you can’t remember this; we will give you a full list of aftercare instructions afterward.

Teoxane®

Teoxane RHA®

About Teoxane RHA Fillers in New York City

The latest innovation in hyaluronic acid fillers, Teoxane’s Teosyal RHA Collection, is now exclusively available to Marmur Medical patients. Using a gentle manufacturing process with fewer chemical modifications, RHA fillers were specially designed to be more like the hyaluronic acid that naturally occurs in the skin. This means these dermal filler treatments are resilient enough to adapt to your facial movements and still look natural. There are currently three RHA fillers, each of which differs because of their unique consistencies and the amount of cross-linking within their formula:

  • RHA 2 is frequently used on moderate wrinkles on the upper face, such as the glabella and crow’s feet, or to add volume to the lips or enhance their contour.
  • RHA 3 targets deep wrinkles on the face, such as nasolabial folds, vertical lip lines, and deep lines and creases. It can also augment the cheeks and restore facial shape.
  • RHA 4 is most appropriate for addressing deeper nasolabial folds and prominent lines in the lower face and jawline. It’s also been used off-label in the midface to contour the cheeks.
  • Redensity protects skin against oxidative stress with its exclusive densifying action. Redensity 1 is a collagen biostimulator treatment that aims to prolong skin’s youthfulness. By treating premature skin aging, Redensity 1 sustains the skin from the inside out and encourages the body’s natural collagen and elastin production. With long-lasting results, Redensity 1 offers results that have been shown to last up to 18 months. Teosyal® Puresense Redensity 2 is the first unique hyaluronic acid filler designed to treat the undereye area, especially dark circles. While this area has proven difficult to treat, Redensity 2 offers immediate, natural-looking results. Redensity 2 dermal filler treatments provide results that typically last from 8 to 12 months, but it has been shown to last up to 18 months in certain instances. With immediate visible results, Redensity 2 eliminates folds, wrinkles, and the effects of dehydration on delicate undereye skin.

What to Expect

Our experts inject RHA fillers precisely into the skin with a fine needle. RHA fillers contain lidocaine to make the injection process more comfortable. After your results appear, you should enjoy the volumizing benefits of fillers while still being able to make your natural facial expressions. Each of these fillers has been shown to last up to 15 months, and patients can also schedule touch up appointments to maintain their results.

Kybella is the first and only FDA-approved injectable that contours and improves submental fullness. Dr. Marmur was included in the initial FDA trials which demonstrated fabulous efficacy in acting like a detergent and washing out the fat cells permanently. By focusing on the fascial space, the area directly underneath the chin, Kybella can effectively reduce your double chin without the need to undergo invasive facial surgery. Marmur Medical is one of the first practices in NYC to treat patients with Kybella, and also regularly teaches other physicians how to utilize the proper techniques when it comes to this outstanding injectable.

What to Expect

One of the main perks of Kybella is that it is not a temporary solution to your double chin problem. These fat cells will disappear permanently, and you’ll enjoy a younger, more refreshed appearance. PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Injections

PRP is a patented technology and process in which your blood is drawn (similar to that of a basic lab test) and spun rapidly in a centrifuge. During this process, platelets separate from other components of the blood.
