We are COVID CONSCIOUS! We want you to feel 100% safe and secure when you come to Marmur Medical as we all emerge from our quarantines. We’ve updated equipment, educated our staff, implemented teledermatology, enhanced our easy text message and communication system, and stocked up on protective equipment. We want your visit to be as touch free as possible from walking through open doors into the office to a quick hands free checkout experience.
Fortunately, as a medical and surgical practice, many of our gold standard, clean and sterile techniques are second nature to us. We have routinely trained our staff to uphold these high standards. Marmur Medical exceeds OSHA and CLIA standards which sets us apart from many dermatology practices in the country.
Due to COVID19, we added special screening measures that are customary for all medical facilities. Beginning with a personal phone call to each of you, we will ask you a few questions about your travel, health, symptoms, and the goals for your visit. Your appointment may be a little different than usual; we will take your temperature, we will be wearing cloth or surgical or N95 masks, we ask you to wear a mask when you arrive or please let us know if you would like one from our supply. We will ask you to come directly into an exam room without a family member. If you require a healthcare assistant, please let us know in advance. Your feedback is important to us so please respond to our automatic survey after your visit so we can continue to improve!
Please follow our hand cleansing instructions and avoid handling anything in the room out of caution. We will deep clean each room, exam chair, and door handle etc before and after each visit. We prefer you do not use the restroom at the office so please plan ahead. Of course, our restrooms are available should you prefer.
In addition, Marmur Medical aims to be the most clean conscious practice in NYC. We’ve added air filtration systems, acrylic panels, and air suction machines to both locations. Our staff has undergone hours of extra clinical training to be mindful of workflow and safety during this time. Plus, our physicians, health care providers, and management have participated in dozens of hours of high level webinars and advisory board sessions with other medical groups to ensure ours are the highest level of excellence.
Your comfort and safety is our top priority alongside our mutual safety. Our team is tested regularly to ensure everyone stays safe and sound.
